MISSION STATEMENT:
Trinity Church offers Christian community for the realization of God's presence through worship, relationship, and outreach.
The Vision Outreach Committeerecently met for our fourth quarter meeting. Outreach funds for the fourth quarter will be distributed to Partners in Hope, Crosscurrents and the Discretionary Fund. We will be accepting grant requests to be considered at the end of our first quarter, early in April, 2011.
The mission statement and guidelines for application for Trinity Outreach were updated as follows
Vision Outreach Mission Statement:
We, as Trinity Church, go forth into the world in peace.
We will offer support and awareness to organizations and individuals locally and globally in order to strengthen the fainthearted, support the weak, help the afflicted, honor all persons, and love and serve the Lord.
Eligibility Requirements for Applying:
WE ARE ONE. We are one as a church, and hope to unify our efforts to accomplish our mission statement by supporting the outreach of all members of our Trinity Church family. This includes projects embraced as Trinity outreach projects, organizations and outreach in our community, and outreach that embraces people in far away places.
WE OFFER awareness and promotion of all outreach projects embraced by Trinity parishioners. We will encourage communication avenues and promote involvement to grow effective heartfelt programs. We will encourage addition individual funding to support our diocese mission share.
MAY ALL MEMBERS of our parish, our community, and our world be honored.
Guidelines:
Any church member may bring forward a program or outreach project that they want to develop, or that they support as a personal volunteer commitment.
If desired, they may participate in a conversation to grow and develop their project.
They may be guided with suggestions to promote their idea.
They may apply for support funding from our Vision Outreach fund through an application process.
Applications will be requested, received and reviewed quarterly. Payouts will be made as budget allows
Necessary information to submit:
Grant application form and 1 page narrative.
Basic budget statement for proposed project
Most recent financial statement of organization
Applications are available in the Trinity office, or from Website, go to Contact then click on the E-mail address and begin your request for an electronic copy to be sent to you.
They may be submitted to the office or to any Vision Outreach member.
The Trinity member will be informed of approval, availability of funds, and payout schedule.
The Vision Outreach committee consists of Carolyn Wacker, Susan Beerbower, Carole Cobb and Deb Kappers.
