Pranic Healing Clinic Update
Pranic Healing Clinic meets on the first Thursday of each month from 6 to 9 PM in Teens Lounge. Bring your friends, family members and neighbors – everybody is welcome. People come to observe and learn, to participate in the Planetary Meditation for Peace, to have a session of PH, or all of the above. Graduates of the Pranic Healing courses, from beginners to more experienced practitioners, are here to help others in need as a service and commitment to the community. In return the Pranic Healers are given an opportunity to gain more experience and practice with their healing skills.

Existence of Pranic energy and its impact on living cells and on human health has been under scientific investigation in many countries of the world for the past two decades. Some interesting scientific findings have been published in the July and December 2006 issues of international magazine “Prana World”. I selected a couple of excerpts for this article.
Pranic energy is a form of subtle energy, which when directed with specific techniques and intention, creates powerful therapeutic effects. Medical scans and special cameras are able to record such outcomes. Pranic Healing is using a form of subtle energy that is capable of altering the molecular structure of liquid as well as dense states of matter.
In a scientific experiment conducted by Dr. Masaro Emoto, a Japanese researcher, on the effects of subtle energy (Prana) on water (Emoto 2003), in July 2003, twelve Pranic healers in Melbourne, Australia, and one healer in the Philippines directed Pranic energy to a tap water sample in Dr. Emoto’s Tokyo laboratory for a few minutes. All healers were sending Pranic energy distantly. Photographs made of two samples prove that Pranic healing can alter the molecular structure of water even when directed from a distance of thousands of miles. 70% of the human body comprises water and the research of Dr. Emoto is valuable as it indicates what could be happening when Pranic Healing is applied to physical-etheric body to create well-being.
An Extensive Laboratory Study of Pranic Healing Using Contemporary Medical Imaging and Laboratory Methods
Dr. J. Jones from the Department of Radiological Sciences in University of California, Irvine, conducted Neuro-physiological measurements of Pranic Healing using Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging fMRI (Jones 2001). Following is an abstract and summary of his scientific findings.
“The objective of our long-term study conducted over the past decade, was to critically evaluate Pranic Healing [developed by Master Choa Kok Sui] in a laboratory setting using rigorous mainstream scientific methods… We chose human HeLa cells for our study since radiation survival rates are well known for such cells and this laboratory model is well established and well characterized for radiation effect studies. Here the goal of the Pranic Healers involved in our study was to alter the effects of radiation and enhance the survival rates of the HeLa cells.
In 520 experiments using 10 different Pranic Healers, typical survival rates increased from 50% for untreated [by Prana] cells to over 90% for cells treated both before and after the radiation. The distance between the healer and the cells proved unimportant. Shielding the cells and the healer from electromagnetic radiation, including gamma rays, had no effect on the results. The experience of the healer proved to be slightly important.
… Our long-term study, the details of which will be published shortly in the mainstream scientific literature, clearly shows that Master Choa Kok Sui’s Pranic Healing can reverse the effects of radiation on cells in culture, that the healing process is enhanced by a suitable environment... Scientifically, these findings are quite remarkable and are difficult, if not impossible to explain in terms of the standard scientific paradigm. A Newtonian physics world view, which serves as the basis for the contemporary biology and Western medicine, is incapable of explaining these experimental results. However, the data are quite consistent with a quantum mechanical world view.”
