Hello Friends,
The Sunday Forum will meet at 9:15am, Sunday morning in Parish Hall. Plan to join us as we continue our conversation on the topic of immigration. Last week we discussed issues of immigration of undocumented people on the border of USA and Mexico. This topic is in the news this week because of the legal case between Arizona versus the US government. It does not look like the issue will be settled any time soon.
People have migrated around the planet since the beginning of recorded history. This country has a long history of welcoming people. Fortunately, this welcoming hand continues to be extended by most people in USA. What could Trinity do to welcome immigrant people living in the Troy community? What do we know about immigration in Troy? Do these people have a place to call "community" where they can meet and learn about their new life in USA? Is this an outreach program that Trinity may wish to explore?
